Lange Nacht der Museen

This is quite a interesting event, that i actually got the honour of being able to attend while i was still in Berlin,

so the Lange Nacht der Museen is an event that occurs every year, occurs in other cities and countries around the world, although never noticed it in New Zealand, so for me this was pretty awesome especially since i love history and think that museums are just awesome as :)

I am a History geek and proud of it haha :)

anyway back to the topic, This events opens up museums and in Berlin's case about 80 of them within the city, they become open from 6pm till around 2 in the morning, so all you need to do is purchase one ticket that is about 18euros, which gives you access to the museums but also gives you free access to the transport as well,

there are even bus routes set up as well that have a bus that would take you to a specific museum that is on their route,

when i went along with a friend we managed to fit in  museums which was just great :)
