Unter den Linden

Unter den Linden (Beneath the Limetrees). is a big long street that runs down the middle of Berlin it starts at the Brandenburger Tor and runs down to where the Berliner Dom and also where the Berlin Palace had once stood, which is actually currently in the stage of being rebuilt.

along the street there are a lot of souvenirs  shops but you can also tell what buildings look more modern than others, the Russian embassy is also along there as well, the university Humbolt is there also which is over 200 years old, also along it sits many different restaurants and also has the National Library, the Neue Wache, The Deutches Histroices Museum also the national opera,
Bebel Platz where there was a book burning ceremony during the time of Nazi Germany, there is also the St Hedwig Cathedral, which is located just off the Bebel Platz, and there are many other old historical places along the path which is great.
