Stokes Hill Wharf is primarily a historical tourist area, with many dining facilities on the wharf, also a lot of different boat cruises leave from here.
The history of the wharf dates from early 1800s with the arrival of European settlers, also took most of the attack from the Japanese during the Darwin bombing 19th Feburary 1942
