Reichstag Building

Now to look at the wonderful building known as the Reichstag building, this building was built between 1884 and 1894  and is made to the style of Italian high renaissance.

It is built for the purpose of housing the Parliament more importantly when Kaisers where running the county "Kaiserreich" and also the Weimar Republic after the end of WW1 up until Hitler and the Nazi party took over, Hitler didn't actually use this building but may have also been behind what happened when the building was nearly burnt to the ground, it had completely destroyed the plenary chamber.

so since it wasn't in use, animals and birds used to for the time being, it also become badly damaged from the bombing that Berlin fell under during WWII. The Reichstag was opened again in 1999 after many rebuilding projects that went into it.

the Dome was added which now  tourists can go inside the Reichstag and look around, this is free to do although it is actually best to book ahead because so many people want to take a look.
