Berliner Dom

i must say when i walked down Unter den Linden and came to a stop and saw this amazing looking building i just fell in love with it, it is such a wonderful site :)

The start of the cathedral starting in 1894 with the laying of the first cornerstone and an inauguration ceremony took place in 1905. 
It also did take on some damage during the second world war restoration only began in 1975 and was completed four years after the fall of the Berlin Wall. 

A lot of kings and queens and many other people are buried within the church or below the church in the Crypt, there is also an awesome 360 view of Berlin from the top of the Dom :)
