Potsdamer Platz after 1838 after the railway station had been built, it ended up becoming a very busy place in Europe that is of course until the Berlin wall was run right through it.
Because of it being so busy as well, there was the first ever traffic light erected in Berlin.
it is quite an amazing little square, with so many wonderful, different buildings within the square, not all the far to walk to either from the Brandenburger Tor.
